What Riese & Müller do you own or want to own?

I'm obsessed with the Carrie. As far as I can tell, I don't really have a use for it or a place to store it right now. But, retirement is just a few years ago, and I'm fantasizing about taking my dog on long rides (or even just to the dog park), making Costco runs, and so forth. This is nothing...

    Rain pants for mortal women?

I use a set of REI branded rain pants. They're pretty easy to get over my regular pants. They have a nice feature where the waist has velcro strips that you loosen when putting the pants on and then reattach once they're up. Maybe all rain pants come with that! This is the only pair I've owned.

    Bike Commuter in Memphis TN

Memphis had a boom in bike infrastructure about a decade ago, and there was a period where I was really hopeful about becoming a bike-friendly city. Top winter gear

Great list! We don't have much of a winter where I am, but I'm very cold sensitive so I use more winter gear than you'd expect! I love my bar mitts. Either a helmet liner or a hood under the helmet keeps my head warm, and fleece-lined Bogs ankle boots work for my feet.

    Bike Commuter in Memphis TN

Hi everyone! I'm a bike commuter in Memphis TN. Bike commuting combines two of my passions: Urban Studies (which I teach) and biking. I have three bikes: a Tern HSD, Bianchi Volpe, and a folding Bike Friday. I got the Tern 4 years ago when I noticed my middle-aged knees showing signs of...

Cargo bike Dad in Vancouver BC

Fellow HSD owner here. Like you, I dislike driving, and having a well-equipped bike makes it so easy to choose the bike over the car!

Bicycle commuter and independent dad of two in Virginia.

I got my HSD four years ago. Tern makes some spectacular cargo bikes. Saving money and being environmentally conscious are just two great reasons to "take the plunge."
