I like riding off road a lot so clicking them up a notch, sort of in a vee shape keeps them from digging into the ground or pulling up and dragging the brambles with you.
After seeing tern seem to be moving towards adjustable length centre stand legs I thought I'd share a fix I've been testing for the last 6 months and it's working really well.
The issue-
Over time the lower legs of the centre stand fitted to my Orox were working loose, shortening on their own...
Absolutely loving the updates, especially the little improvements for long term heavy users like cable routing, improved guards and dirt deflectors. I'm not so impressed that they've copied the Orox style centre stand with the adjustable legs but all in all I'm excited.
I have made my first tentative steps into hot chain waxing and spoiler alert, I'm really hopeful.
This isn't really a tutorial more just the process I went with. The main thing is, you need to strip the chain really well, there are loads of good videos around on how to do this, unfortunately...
It's enigma black edition, I could find REX easily available here. It says to pull the chain at 60° which is really thick so I wonder if it's just more excess wax? Either way I did 30km yesterday and now looks perfect.
We shall see.
I have a tern Orox and the 12 speed transmission is giving me a lot of longevity issues. I've just replaced my chain at 0.7 wear and it has already scrapped my whole transmission, this is the second chain and second entire transmission in just 4,000km.
So this time I'm trying the whole waxing...
