Adding a two position safety flag

Hi everyone just wanted to share a quick little project I did this morning

I’ve had this idea to use a children’s kickstand and an ATV flag to have a two position safety distance flag for when riding on a particularly dangerous road.

I was able to bolt a kickstand through my rear rack as you can see in the photos and add a flag to where the foot of the kickstand used to be. This particular stand was adjustable and had a bolt and a plate that was perfect for clamping the flag pole to.

The extra bolt was added, so the entire apparatus wouldn’t rotate. It’s very durable and very flexible and I think this will help increase and incentivize good driving behavior around my family.
