Recently, I've been in conversation with the Non-Motorized Transportation Authority in the Battle Creek, Michigan city government. I have been able to, with their permission, see the current and proposed cycling infrastructure improvements coming. Can't say how soon. But, within conversation, I have been able to personally suggest new lanes and infrastructure improvements. They seem to have listened and are going to keep me in the loop for things to come.
There is no east-west improvements currently. On the busiest roads, there should be, in my opinion, the most paths added. There's nothing. I have requested improvements in this area. We'll keep you posted. As far as the north-south paths, there are plenty of that. It all leads to the major commercial area. There have been talks of adding separated lanes on the one major commercial road, Beckley Road. We'll see what happens there too. We'll keep you all up to speed as things progress.
