Hi, all. My name is Marc and I am a Larry vs Harry Bullitt X rider from Berkeley, California. I also help lead East Bay Kidical Mass and am generally active in bike advocacy in the Bay Area and online.

I'm a long-time fan of Arleigh's and am happy to see this site flourishing. Happy to answer questions about my bike, bike advocacy, getting more kids on bikes, or the Carla Cargo bike trailer which I use a lot.

That's cool, a Bullitt X _and_ a Carla Cargo!! It's a very cool combination. I'm riding the smaller combination, a "normal" Bullitt with an AXC:

Is this the non-electric carla cargo? I would like to get the electric version but they don't sell it outside the EU. Where did you get yours?

How long does the battery last with this setup? I am considering to get the electric Bullitt X to be able to transport two of our dogs at the same time. I already do that with the non-electric Bullitt but the dogs are a bit cramped and I choose my routes carefully to avoid steep hills.

I haven’t taken this setup on a super long ride because it doesn’t really work on any of the bridges near me (which are generally involved in my longer rides). I’ve probably taken it 15 miles fully loaded without running out the battery. For Kidical Mass rides I sometimes carry a photographer on the back and go 10+ miles with plenty of battery left. I know that’s inexact but I hope it helps!
