Hello all yall beautiful people!
I go by Clapptrap, or The Clapp, and I've been into ebikes and escoots for almost two decades now. I have worked for the likes of Spin, Ford, Segway, Tier, Bird, Drover, Lyft, CatEye, and many others in the spaces. My journey began after an injury "limited" my level of biking. Many years of searching and learning led me to modding bikes and scoots for personal usage accommodating my disability. E-bike camping is a newer hobby of mine. I have two cats whom occasionally accompany me on rides and jaunts. While my collection of vehicles is too great to name them all, some of my more popular and routine rides are:
Mongoose Envoy (lg) - electrified with 72v Grin hub motors and Bafang BBSHD
Ford (e.v.t.) "Mustang" eBike
Ninebot (d.v.t.) A200 eBike
Okai B100e eBike
(SOON!) Tern Orox S12 eBike
I hope to meet many more like-minded and passionate riders here, and I am always open to assisting others with their questions and projects.
