After seeing tern seem to be moving towards adjustable length centre stand legs I thought I'd share a fix I've been testing for the last 6 months and it's working really well.

The issue-
Over time the lower legs of the centre stand fitted to my Orox were working loose, shortening on their own and when the extensions are fitted, the feet tend to spin causing the bike to be very unstable on the stand.

The fix-
I found that the retaining pins that hold MT7 brake pads in (the 4part pad conversion for our magura brakes) are the perfect length for the down tubes. I drilled a 3.5mm hole right through and tapped with a 4mm-0.7 tap and they work, look almost factory.

If you have converted to the individual pads in the magura calipers (4 pads rather than 2) you'll likely already have a few of these knocking about.

You need to get the angle of the feet correct before drilling so that the outer part of the feet still touches when on the stand, for the Orox that means twisting the feet back slightly.

You can kinda see the angle of the feet better here.

Once done it kinda looks factory.
