Lived many years in Austin, now live in Lubbock near Texas Tech University. Experienced cycle commuter, cargo bike curious. Need to haul stuff (all my littles are grown now). Anybody ever haul a sheet of plywood? (I need to do that pretty often).

Welcome. I've hauled half sheets-but can't imagine doing it in Lubbock with much success. Your wind would be some kinda rough

Thanks. It's not windy every day of course. But when it is up, cycling of any variety can be a chore (the dust can get REAL). So yeah no plywood sails on those days. ;)
But still interested in what kinds of rigs/adjustments are recommended for shop hauling.

In that case, on my frontloader (as you see in my profile pic), I can easily haul a 2'X8' pieces of plywood tied and strapped along the side. I have an advantage in that I built my front cargobay with the kind of flexibility in mind that allows for that. I don't have any images of carrying plywood but here's a fair representation of it's flexibility.
