I’m also from Ottawa (like @cassie 
!) and excited for this group.
I towed my 2 boys around in a chariot trailer while they were little but switched to a non-electric XtraCycle when they were 5 and 7 yo in 2021 (wished I had known about them earlier!). We managed well for a couple years but they were getting heavy and hills got too be too sweaty to manage, so I passed on the XtraCycle to my sister and got R&Mmultitinker in 2023 which I have enjoyed tremendously and biked all over ottawa - with 1-2 kids, and or with all sorts of stuff - over 6500km so far! In the winter I mostly ride it myself because we don’t have a winter wind solution for cold days and our bike lanes near our home aren’t protected or plowed well enough so I feel nervous having my kids on board. I’ve loved joining and supporting Bike Ottawa, Critical Mass and Kidical Mass rides here over the last few years, and helping organize a film screening of MOTHERLOAD combined with a pre-film cargo-bike show and tell at a local ottawa theatre in spring 2024 was a big highlight
