Hi all. I’m in Aurora/Denver Colorado. Cargobike owner for 7 years. My daily rider is a custom build by Scissortail Cycles out of Norman Oklahoma. In addition to bringing me joy every time I ride it, this bike also got me through the most difficult transition of my life. After losing my life partner of over 40 years to traffic violence, I rode it from Stillwater Ok to my current home here in Colorado. While I would never in a million years suggest riding a fully loaded cargobike across the Great Plains in March, those 2 weeks on the road turned out to be the best possible gift I could have ever given myself. I also have a Tern HSD that currently serves mainly as a loaner for the E bike curious.

Welcome Keith!

Your bike looks sweet, and made here in the states too! Can you post more shots and details about it?

Thanks Nacho. There are plenty of glamour shots here: https://theradavist.com/scissortail-cycles-cargo-bike-review/ (hit 'view gallery' at the bottom of the first image for all of them). Dewayne at Scissortail is a one person operation. I went to him with some ideas and it literally started as a napkin sketch. He hit it out of the park as it rides and handles better than any other front loader I've ridden. He's gone on to to build a few others like it and the only change he's made is cargo bay size. After relocating to Colorado, I put a front motor assist on it from Electric Bike Outfitters here in Denver. That's been a game changer for me at this altitude and the spread-out metro area.
