Hello Everyone!
I started with a cargo bike (Urban Arrow) a year and a half ago with my first kid, have since had another baby and am looking forward to raising them in a car-lite lifestyle in the city!
I grew up in a place with literally no bike infrastructure (North Dakota) and until I was 25, really didn't bike at all. A couple years before having kids, I started to use a bike to get around the city more and more and couldn't believe the change it had on my mood! I feel lucky to live in a place with such great bike infrastructure (relatively) and am looking for ways to help promote and expand biking as transportation in a car-centric country.
I'm starting to get back some free time as the kids get a little older and would love to hear your opinions or experiences on the most effective/rewarding types of advocacy. Look forward to chatting!
