Pannier Rain Cover Tip

The biggest downfall of the massive Tern panniers for me has always been the weather resistance. I've been able to mostly solve this problem with backpacking pack rain covers.
Turned sideways these have greatly improved the dryness of my gear inside. If you're in the market for something similar, I recommend the type with a drawstring cinch to keep the excess material out of your rear wheel. (non-cinch also works, it's just a bit finicky to position) There's two different Osprey covers in these photos but I think just about any brand would work.

Heck yeah! If Tern ever updates the cargo holds, maybe they could add a built in rain fly in a little zipper pocket somewhere. Great to see a working solution in the wild. Your Quick Haul looks great set up like that. Is that a touring/bikepacking rig?
