Hello from NY, we recently got an Aventon Abound and were advised not to cycle in the heavy rain because the electric parts are not fully waterproof.
Did you experience riding Aventon Aboiund in heavy rain or keep it under persistent rain for long time? Is there any accessories you could reccomend to cover the electric parts?

Congrats on your new bike! I have also heard of the displays going wonky on Aventon after hard rains. I haven't experienced it myself, but worked on several customers bikes that needed a new display.
