Tern GSD Rear Wheel Failures

Any one else have any rear wheel failures? I am on my second failure on my s10lx. It seems like water can get into the freehub and corrode the bearings. My first failure was last June at about 5500miles. My rear wheel was replaced and now i failed again after another 2k miles. My rear wheel makes an intermittent grinding noise and I will probably ride this one out while I build a wheel with a new hub. I purchased a hope pro 5 e-bike Hub to make a new/spare. It looks like there are some options to buy a replacement freehubs but mostly in Europe with high shipping costs.

Just as an update to this, Tern had the replacement freewheels in stock and I had it replaced at a local dealer. I also have a new wheel being built on a New Hub so that I have a spare in case.

I believe Avon valley cyclery stock them but yeah I've had failures so went to the hope hub and it's still like new.

There are new freehub bodies that are helping with this immensely.

Yes sorry I forgot to mention, that my wheel was the older version of the freehub body. I was not under the impression the older freehub could be updated to the new version. Newer versions of the GSD should have the updated freehub and hopefully less issues!
