Van Raam Adaptive Bicycles

Van Raam is the leader in adaptive bikes. They are a Dutch company, but also have dealers worldwide. Since I am in the US, I do know that The Cargo Bike Shop in Madison is a licensed dealer of theirs that you can order these through. Van Raam produces uniquely special needs bicycles and specializes in tricycles, transport bikes, scooterbikes, wheelchair bikes, tandem bikes, double rider bikes, and low step trough bikes (also known as comfortbikes). Each model is also available as an electric bike (Pedelec).

I live opposite an old folks home and often thought it would be cool to take the seniors for a good old fashioned bike ride these machines would be just the job to do this

I really don’t understand why deltas are common. They are poor engineering and science. My brother in law’s parents raced deltas in the 50’s - they are thoroughbreds and you need to be highly skilled. I strongly recommend wheels for wellbeing. Denmark prescribes trikes for serious neurological issues
