Hi All! I'm a dad and mobility justice/active transportation advocate in Connecticut's Capital Region. I organize a middle school bike bus, do all my grocery shopping, and commute to work on this old school Yuba Mundo that my kids call the Green Machine. I first saw these Yuba cargo bikes when I was living in New York City in 2010. An entire family in Chinatown would mount up on one tricked out with running boards and foot-pegs. Some young folks started a human-powered moving company I'd often see on the Lower East Side with two Yuba Mundos that were customized with big rear deck platforms to carry couches and mattresses and stuff. So great! Been cargo biking for 10 years.
