    Colorado Front Range check in

Yay! Welcome and thanks! If you don't have a bike yet, you're certainly welcome to borrow mine and while and give it a solid try - I have complete and total trust in anyone that's cut their teeth on old mopeds :ROFLMAO: Also, look up Cully Radvillas in the Springs if you don't already know...

    Acoustic Bike "Show Off"

Here ya go. Mine was acoustic for the first 6 years of it's life. Here's a shot of me and it 400 miles into a 650 mile ride. Just for giggles, i weighed the mess at the start of the trip and the bike with all the gear and a day's supply of water was within a pound of my weight. :ROFLMAO...

My cargobike carrying me over the rough stuff

This is far from your average bikepacking or adventure story. I've debated about sharing it here so feel free to pull it out if it doesn't fit Arliegh. Four years ago, my wife and 40yr+ partner Teri, was hit and killed trying to walk across the street leaving her job in Stillwater Oklahoma...

    Hi from Durham, NC

Welcome! FWIW, I'm a true believer that the main thing that makes a bike a 'cargobike' is the attitude of the rider and a willingness to make it work for your hauling situation. Looks like you've nailed that.

Recommendations for a weeklong family bike trip in the U.S.

The website is a bit like stepping back in time but there's a ton of experienced travelers here: https://www.bikeforums.net/regional-discussions/ If you poke around a bit, I bet someone can help you find just what you're looking for.

    Colorado Front Range check in

Hi all. SE Aurora is home but you can find me out and about just about anywhere in the Denver metro area on my big yellow frontloader, #JosExpress or a Tern HSD. Hoping to meet some folks from this forum in real life.

Haul of Fame Thread - 2025

You bet. If you have basic woodworking skills, there are a few v.1 floating around for sale. They took a bad rap for the plywood bed not holding up but that's an easy fix.

Have you seen the Argo? I've ridden v.1 and they are a reasonably solid lower budget solution. https://cargobikelife.com/threads/new-argo-cargo-kit-2-0-coming-summer-2025.29/
