Hi all. SE Aurora is home but you can find me out and about just about anywhere in the Denver metro area on my big yellow frontloader, #JosExpress or a Tern HSD. Hoping to meet some folks from this forum in real life.

Hey everyone! Figured I'd start here before jumping into the big worldwide threads.

I'm Anna, and I'm in northern Colorado Springs. I'm brand new to cargo bikes and hoping to replace my frustrating daycare commute (it's literally less than a mile but I hate cars) with something a lot more fun and enriching for both my toddler and I. Cargo bikes are new to me, two-wheeled life isn’t—I’ve spent years riding motorcycles and tinkering with old two-stroke mopeds. The thing that's really pushed me over the edge is that a brand new grocery store just opened up near us, and I would be able to take mixed-use paths & neighborhood streets all the way there and back- a thing of beauty in this suburban sprawl.

I’m especially interested in an electric front loader and hoping to take it up and down the Santa Fe Trail since I live right off it. I can't wait to join everyone out in the wild!

@Keith I love your ride! I hope to one day have a machine that has as much love and personality in it

Yay! Welcome and thanks! If you don't have a bike yet, you're certainly welcome to borrow mine and while and give it a solid try - I have complete and total trust in anyone that's cut their teeth on old mopeds :ROFLMAO: Also, look up Cully Radvillas in the Springs if you don't already know him-he'll be a great resource.
