I haven't seen it mentioned in the reviews, but some newer Bosch displays support setting custom levels of boost. That would be a big improvement for me. ECO is usually not quite enough boost, but TOUR is way more than I need. This was simple to adjust with Shimano STePS and Brose.

I have one 400 and one 500 battery. I tested the PowerPak400 in ECO at 28km/h and got 56.73km (35.25 miles). I'll test the 500.

I'm wondering if our GSD can get me camping. Tern advertises a range of 128 miles, which would be great! I'm guessing the 128-mile claim is using ECO on flat ground with no wind, at some unspecified speed? Bikepacking people, what boost level & range do you use?

After buying the GSD, I ordered a set of brake pads and 3 chains(*). I didn't want to be left searching for parts when the time comes. (*) I'll need 1.5 chain lengths, so I got enough length for 2 chain swaps

To partially answer my own question: the Purion manual says after about 1 mile of riding, it factors-in riding style (unclear if it's just using speed, or extrapolating from the watt-hour consumption per mile). So, that's pretty cool.
