Hi! My name is Tristan, I'm the new owner of a second hand Muli Muskel cargo. It's built in Germany and is a very special bike (to be honest I think pretty much any bike is special, but maybe that's just me!).
1. it has small wheels (20" at the back, 16" at the front), so the bike is quite short, less than 2 m in length.
2. it's partly foldable. The cargo space can be folded to take less width, which is a must for me as space is scarce in downtown Paris.
Here is a picture from the right side:
The bike ass seen from the front, with its foldable cargo space :
As you can see, it's really narrow when folded.
There is no electrical assistance (hence the "Muskel" / Muscle model name) but it has a good transmission: belt, Alfine 8 and good Shimano disc brakes. Built-in light powered by a dynamo in the front wheel.
A word about myself: I work in software and IT sustainability, I love Open Source and the Web, used to work for Mozilla, very concerned about climate change and planetary boundaries. I used to be a fan of motorcycles and traveling on a motorbike but now I want to reduce my carbon footprint and I trying to switch from motorcycles to bicycles. I love bikes with character, and I own a Brompton C-Line, a Brompton G-Line, a Moustache Electric bike, a VSF Farrhad Manufaktur T-700 steel bike and a Titanium Gravel. I ride everyday to work (12 km overall, I started 6 years ago) and travel (very slowly) on a bicycle with my wife in the summer.
