Hey there! This is Scott with Argo. I love cargo bikes.
I live in Denver Colorado with my family and 2 dogs (pit mixes if you are curious).
My product is the Argo Cargo Kit. It turns a regular bike into a front loading cargo bike. It looks like this.

Until you add your bike... and then it looks like this:

We are in the midst of a pre-sale right now for the 2nd version of the Argo. The design is mostly complete, but the little details are all under scrutiny now.

And we are working on 3 other products that will start rolling out over the next few months.
I'm so happy that this community has sprung up.

Very interested in this one.
Are replacement parts like the steering him joints available after sale?

Looking forward to seeing this ship! I still use my original Kickstarter Argo and get a lot of questions from folks about where they can get one.

I noticed that the kickstand is still backwards - it folds to the front. Is there a reason it doesn’t fold to the back?

Yes, we (will) have stock for all of the parts. We did run out of the BBLink replacements due to the pandemic messing up certain small suppliers. Those are coming back in stock as we begin to ship v2.

The small parts we used on v1 are fully serviceable. The heim has a zerk for greasing, too.
We have only had to replace them due to incorrect installation or accidents. Let me know if you have other questions.
Thanks, I also really like the idea that you have attachment hardware for other bikes. The one I'm considering it for has a 73mm BB, but im giving some good consideration to purchasing a used fat-bike as well (I think it has a 100mm BB, I'd have to measure). The plan would be a 1000w Bafang G62 in the rear wheel of the fatbike and depending on use, swap it back and forth..

I read somewhere that you had Canadian distribution set up through e-bikebc
Do you have any other Canadian distribution with people who might actually respond to an inquiry? (It seems they don’t and their note on their website that states they will only service ENVO bikes makes me want to look elsewhere)

It's all about compatibility. Due to keeping things adjustable, we have to keep the pivot toward the back. As we tested different placements, we ran into problems with tiny adult bikes and people with very long feet. So we are keeping this particular feature to keep our shortest and tallest riders happy. :)

We worked with them for a sample order and both decided that it made more sense to no longer work together.
We are talking to a new distributor that (so far) is INCREDIBLE. We will make that announcement as soon as the ink is dry.
They are very responsive, very responsible and they are committed to the cargo community.

Hey Scott! Thanks for being here. The Argo is super cool, and I can't wait to see the v2!
I'm wondering if you can share how people are riding them with kids, specifically what ages and setups?
I'm pretty sure I've seen someone in the Seattle area who uses one to drop off a kid, and then commute... seems like a great option!
