Yes a Long running documentary series on the BBC in The UK, they did a special on the supposed scourge of E bikes on the streets of UK cities. It was mostly to do with food delivery riders using illegal E bikes in the UK. Don't know if you have that problem across the pond. Anyway parts of the emphasis of the program was the amount of deaths caused by these E Bikes and i thought the whole report was biased due to the following points.
There was no distinction between the 349 deaths over a three year period was due to pedestrians being hit by E bikes or e bike riders being hit by motor vehicle drivers.
And also there was no mention of the 4000 plus deaths involving motor vehicle in the UK over the same period, and these were direct deaths and did not even mention deaths related to air pollution and inactivity over the same period.
I guess my question was if any one in the UK came away with the same impression of the broadcast.
Cycling in general is able to solve so many problems that we experience in this modern world, and i guess i do not enjoy seeing it represented in this light in the mainstream media.
