Rain pants for mortal women?

Hi! My lovely other half bought me some showers pass timberline rain pants for Christmas, but there's no way both my regular pants and my butt are fitting inside. I need recommendations for rain pants that will fit over my regular pants (and my booty, which until now I was not self-conscious about) and will actually keep me dry on my daily commute. Help?!

These are the ones I use. I am a curvy woman, but I wear the large men’s. They’re also on sale right now.

I use a set of REI branded rain pants. They're pretty easy to get over my regular pants. They have a nice feature where the waist has velcro strips that you loosen when putting the pants on and then reattach once they're up. Maybe all rain pants come with that! This is the only pair I've owned.

@tacombs99 Have you tried sizing up (like one size larger than your usual size)? I took that approach with my rain pants (Chrome Storm Rain Pants) and they fit easily over my jeans.
