Hi folks,

One thread from a German cargo bike forum that I've found incredibly useful for knowing what I should be aware of with my R&M Load 75 is this one: https://www.cargobikeforum.de/forum...oad-60-75-tipps-und-ideen-zur-anpassung.5259/

For the non-German speakers (this includes me!) you can read through the thread pretty easily in Chrome using the page translate feature.

I'd love to see other ideas added here as folks have them, but figured I'd post this, so as to not completely reinvent the wheel. Many of the folks sharing ideas on the German forum have owned their bikes for several years, and as such, have found creative ideas for add-ons, rain-cover lighting, fixes for broken fenders, or creative box lining ideas.

Happy riding!

Now that the forum is "launched" I'm slowly going to start working on the Product Guides - the most built out is the one for the GSD. One of the pages I wanted to include is "hacks" with photos and links to the forum thread or FB post. Ideally, it is user generated within the forums!

My eyes are heavily on the Load4 75 to potentially replace my Urban Arrow. I desperately need to go lay actual eyes on one and take it out for a spin.

Do you ride adults around in the UA? The size of the 75 is so much more compact (great for dogs and small humans!)
Not as much as I used to. Tatiana almost always chooses to ride her Tern rather than be a passenger anymore, plus she doesn't like how rigid the ride is in the UA. Constantly bracing herself for bumps and such. The Load4 is actually longer than the UA as far as I know, although the cargo box may be slightly shorter just in the front top side.

The length is a bit misleading. The seats are on the ground so you don’t have the extra leg room

My vision has always been for Urban Arrow and R&M Load to have a cargo bike baby. I want the comfort of an UA box/seat with the utility and full suspension of R&M. Just my personal wishlist though.

This is exactly why I picked the R&M, after test-riding both. On my test ride, the bell on the UA would ring going over speedbumps. I did choose the regular Load 75, not the Load4 75, because the price difference was just too much to justify it for me. Also I like having the Bosch System 2 batteries right now.

When I sold my first UA and got the second UA, I opted for dual batteries, a choice I will always make going forward, or to put it better, always have a minimum of 1k battery capacity.
