Colorado’s right to repair law passed last year. https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/hb24-1121 The prime sponsor, Rep Titone confirmed to me the bill includes e-bikes so Bosch should have to start offering access and sell the diagnostic cable to owners starting this coming January. any idea if Bosch will try to weasel its way out of this?

so if it's legal there, then that means somebody might be able to, ya know, ship out cables and gig sticks with the required software or whatnot to people elsewhere?
