We are huge fans of our Specialized Globe Haul ST. So much so that after a year, we decided to get me my own LT version.
For the majority of its 1000 miles it’s been used as a kid carrier with a Thule Yepp Maxi rack mounted seat. We’ve had zero issues with our bikes, the addition of the Tannus Armor inserts basically eliminated our risk of most flats.
When first looking at the reviews for the bike we were a little concerned about the computer issues causing shutdowns and shorts. This was resolved by simply cleaning out the excess grease in the module.
The battery life is awesome we can easily get 40-60 miles on a charge. Even when it weighed down with a kid and backpacks it almost unnoticeable. It is really built like a tank.
The built in headlight and taillights are awesome and have a few blinking options too.
To me, for the prices, ease of use, availability and support, it really hard to beat a Globe Haul.
