Hi,

Our long tail has a flat tire on the rear and it seems like it'll be a pain to try to do it ourselves plus we haven't done a lot of repairs. We're thinking of trying to tow it to the bike store which is a few miles away using one of our other bikes. Has anyone tried anything like that before?

We also have a Burley kids trailer we were thinking of using to prop the back wheel under

From someone who has three flats in 2 weeks, I understand you not wanting to tackle this. I do not have a vehicle which can fit my cargo bike though I could and have called AAA for a tow. But I finally got the courage to at least remove the tire/wheel from the bike. I had to call the shop a couple of times but got it done.
I am now to the point where I can replace the tube but lack the strength to get the tire back on the wheel. (But I will be ordering the Tyre Monkey & Tyre Glider to hopefully solve this issue.)
Getting the tire back on is not that easy either. I found that if I lay the bike on its side then I can maneuver the tire back in place.
My long tail cargo is an e-bike and would be too heavy to tow by another bike.
You might try looking at YouTube for videos for at least removing the wheel yourself.
Good luck!

Yeah it feels pretty daunting especially with all the accessories and attachments on the back to try it ourselves. If it was a regular bike or even just a regular sized ebike we would probably go for trying to replace the tube ourselves.

We're thinking of going to the triple A route or else maybe seeing if we can borrow or rent a truck/van for a day
