    Yeah I was constantly cleaning my rotors but the noise would always come back after a couple of rides. The squeal was horrendous in the rain but they still worked as good as in the dry so I kept them on.

    A lot of people go for the Magura 8P pads as replacement. I had a set of Galfer purple "eBike" compound, they were noisy even in the dry but worked really well. My kid always commented that he could hear me coming from streets away :ROFLMAO: Now trying out Frictive metal pads, noise levels...

    The whole front section is different. The Family doesn't have the "spine with outriggers" for mounting, it has a rectangular frame that is the part under the EPP box. And it doesn't have front suspension (only the Family Next).

    I'd like to see different types bike infrastructure that you have experienced in Australia, that you might think are good examples to roll out in other areas. I like to advocate for upgraded bike infrastructure in my local council, especially as there are a lot of level crossing removals...

    Oof, yeah that's a nice design but a price to match! I had seen someone else using a Thule double ended bike rack clamp but they aren't cheap either.
